Our Mission...
The Charlotte Amelia School of Dance follows the world recognised Royal Academy of Dance syllabus in all classical ballet classes. These classes are designed for your child to develop sound ballet technique whilst building lifelong friendships in a safe, nurturing learning environment. As ballet is the foundation of all dance we endeavour to deliver the highest quality of ballet training and aim to create technical, strong well rounded dancers. We have a 100% pass rate in all our ballet exams with all students achieving either Distinctions or High Merits.
Our Jazz/Ballet Technique classes are delivered with an upbeat, exciting approach inspiring children to understand technical dance elements from a young age, whilst developing flexibility, strength and coordination in a positive learning environment.
Our Acrobatic classes are taught by qualified Acrobatic Arts teachers and are a fantastic way for dancers to enhance their skills by introducing new dimensions to their movement vocabulary. Mastering cartwheels, rolls, and intricate balance techniques, dancers not only improve their strength, flexibility, and coordination but also gain greater body awareness and control. By integrating acrobatic elements, dancers can elevate their routines, learn new skills and reach their full potential.

Meet the dedicated professionals whose expertise and guidance shape the artistry and discipline of our dancers.
Charlotte Amelia - Founder / Principal
Charlotte Amelia founded the school in September 2021 with a clear vision: to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can flourish through dance. In just a short time, the school has grown rapidly, now welcoming over 150 students to weekly classes and earning a reputation for excellence in both training and community.
Charlotte trained professionally at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, where she earned two Level 6 Diplomas in Dance and Musical Theatre. Committed to continuing her development as both a dancer and educator, she went on to complete the RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS). This prestigious qualification allows her to enter students for annual Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams—proudly maintaining a 100% pass rate, with all students achieving Distinctions or High Merits.
She is also a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher, further enhancing the school’s diverse and comprehensive dance curriculum. Charlotte is deeply passionate about helping every student discover their confidence, creativity, and potential. Her classes are structured, supportive, and focused on both personal growth and technical excellence—celebrating each dancer's journey every step of the way.
